How These Terms Apply
These Terms and Conditions apply when you book camping with West Hook Farm Camping. Please read them carefully before you make your booking. By placing a booking by email or phone you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time.

Pitches
All pitches are grass pitches. There is no hardstanding on the site and there are no hook-ups.
Pitches are numbered for convenience and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee a particular pitch, but it is almost always possible to camp close to friends or relatives if desired.
Prices
The prices advertised are accurate at the time of booking. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. An up-to-date price list can be found on the Camping Prices page.
Bookings
Less than one week — full payment must be made on booking. This full payment is non-refundable; once confirmed it cannot be amended or transferred. Minimum booking: 2 nights (except backpackers). Touring caravan bookings: minimum 4 nights.
More than one week — pitches can be reserved with a 2-night deposit, the balance paid on arrival. This deposit is non-refundable and once confirmed cannot be amended or transferred.
All bookings must be made by phone and payment made by bank transfer (bank details given on booking).

When booking, you agree that at least one member of the party is over twenty-one and that you have the authority of all members of the party to book on their behalf. You accept responsibility for any loss or damage caused by a member of your party or any animal brought to the site.
West Hook Farm Campsite caters for families and couples. We do not accept bookings from large groups or for stag or hen parties. We reserve the right to refuse bookings which may not fit the campsite ethos of peaceful enjoyment of the countryside.
Cancellation and Changes
- You can cancel your booking at any time by contacting us by email or phone.
- No refunds — if you cancel, you will lose your deposit or full payment. No money will be returned or credit notes issued.
- No changes to a booking — we are unable to change booking dates once confirmed or transfer your booking to another date.
- If you leave early — we will not refund unused camping nights, except under exceptional circumstances.
- In the unlikely event that we are obliged to cancel a booking, we will offer a full refund or the option of an alternative date.
Arrival and Departure
We ask all visitors to arrive after 2.00pm but before 8.00pm.
Please remember to call at the house before pitching or parking.
The gates are locked at 10.00pm and re-opened at 7.00am.
You must leave the site by midday on the day of departure.
Behaviour on Site
During your stay you must comply with the campsite rules as stated on our website.
The enjoyment and safety of our guests is of paramount importance to us. We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these rules or behave in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors to leave immediately with no refund.
Loud music is expressly banned on the site.
We do not allow ground camp fires, but we do allow raised fire baskets and BBQs and we supply slabs to put them on, if you would like to have a barbeque please ask at the farm for a paving slab to protect the grass. You must adhere to our fire safety rules.
Dogs are permitted but must be kept under control. Owners are responsible for removing any dog mess.
Complaints
We want you to have an enjoyable stay. Should you have any cause for complaint, please contact Robert or Karre immediately.
Liability
Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
If we fail to comply with these Terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a direct and foreseeable result of our failure or negligence. We shall not be responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses.
Where we are responsible for your loss of equipment or personal belongings, our maximum liability shall be no more than to refund the amount paid for the holiday.
You are responsible for the safety of your party, including children who should be supervised at all times. You are solely responsible for securing your property and possessions.
As our campsite is in a rural environment, we do not accept responsibility for any damage, injury or inconvenience caused by livestock, plants, trees, wildlife or weather. We advise you to have the relevant insurance.
We do not accept responsibility for anything outside our control (Force Majeure events: war, civil unrest, industrial action, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather, pandemics, etc.). We will endeavour to manage any problems caused as a result of a Force Majeure event, but shall be under no obligation to do so and shall not be liable to you for any losses caused by a Force Majeure event.
We are covered by up-to-date Public Liability Insurance.
